UPCOMING EVENTS Osprey Valley Golf Resort Osprey Valley, Ontario, Canada Sept 5 - 8, 2027 St. Andrews Scotland June 2027 | The USGFR was organized in February 1990 by Bryce Roper, PDG, 5400. The first USGFR event was held in Portland Maine in 1990 and events have been held annually since. In 2018 the Executive Committee voted to change the organization's name to United States - Canada Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians (USCGFR) to better reflect the the composition of our membership. The current policy of the USCGFR Board is to rotate the venues among the various geographic regions in the United States and Canada. The golf is organized with at least one practice round and three scoring rounds. We use the Stableford point system for scoring for the various divisions of skill and place maximum value on making new friends playing together as teams and as individuals. The events are focused on fun and fellowship. |

36th USCGFR Championship Grandover Resort & Spa, Greensboro, North Carolina The 36th USCGFR Championship, was held May 18–21, 2026, at the beautiful Grandover Resort & Spa in Greensboro, North Carolina. Members from across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean gathered for four outstanding days of golf, fellowship, and friendship. Set against the backdrop of Grandover's two championship golf courses, participants enjoyed challenging competition, first-class hospitality, and the opportunity to renew old friendships while welcoming many new members to the USCGFR family. Golfers competed in flights based on handicap, ensuring spirited and fair competition for players of all skill levels. The East and West Courses provided an excellent test of golf, rewarding good shot-making while reminding many of us that North Carolina's lakes, bunkers, and woodlands can be both beautiful and unforgiving. Regardless of score, participants embraced the true spirit of the Fellowship—enjoying the game, supporting one another, and creating memories that will last for years to come. The championship experience extended well beyond the golf course. Members and their guests enjoyed outstanding meals, lively evening gatherings, and countless opportunities to connect with fellow Rotarians and friends. The Hospitality Suite once again served as a popular gathering place where stories were shared, friendships strengthened, and new connections formed. Our non-golfing participants enjoyed a diverse program of local tours and activities that showcased the culture, history, and attractions of the Greensboro area. Their enthusiasm and participation contributed greatly to the success of the week and reinforced the inclusive nature of the USCGFR Championship. This championship was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes the USCGFR special: friendly competitive golf, meaningful fellowship, and the enduring friendships that unite our members throughout North America and beyond. The USCGFR extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and organizers whose efforts made this event possible. We also thank Grandover Resort & Spa and its staff for their exceptional hospitality and commitment to providing a first-class championship experience. Congratulations to all of our division winners and award recipients. The complete list of winners and the Championship Photo Gallery can be viewed under the Past Tournaments section of the USCGFR website.
